was founded in 2002 by Ben Clark and Doug Adams.

Ben Clark is one of
the most sought-after dance band writers / arrangers in the Chicago area. He is
also highly in-demand as a freelance performer on trumpet, electric bass
and vocals. A former winner of the National Trumpet Competition, his
playing has been recognized throughout the US.
Clark is the
principal arranger for the renowned Michael Lerich Orchestra, and is currently the
principle arranger for Serendipity, which will stage May 25,
2007 at the Chicago Theater (tickets available here). He also performs regularly
with the Chicago Metropolitan
Jazz Orchestra.

As a composer, Doug Adams’
works have been performed around the country. For the past ten years,
Adams has worked as a critic-at-large for Film Score
Monthly magazine, where he's discussed film music with
such composers as Danny Elfman, Howard Shore, Philip Glass, Qunicy Jones, Elmer Bernstein, David Raksin, Don Davis, John Corigliano
and many others. He is a leading advocate for film music, and is regularly
invited around the country for speaking engagements.
Adams has
recently provided liner notes for Mychael
Danna’s score to The Nativity Story. He is also the
author of the upcoming book The
Music of the Lord of the Rings Films, and is currently providing
liner notes to Howard
Shore’s /
Reprise Record’s Lord of the
Rings CD boxed-set releases (see official site here).
The full book will be released shortly after this year’s release of
The Return of the King: The
Complete Recordings.
Doug Adams
has just completed Bitterblue,
his first feature film score.
